MedNotifyMe (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides reminders and optional response tracking through email and SMS. This policy explains how information is handled when you use mednotifyme.com and its services.

Information we collect

When you create an account or use the service, we may process your email address, authentication identifiers, remindee names and contact details, phone numbers, reminder descriptions and schedules, delivery channels, escalation contacts, messages and responses, timestamps, delivery statuses, and relevant technical logs. Do not include sensitive medical information in reminder text unless you are comfortable with its transmission to the selected recipients.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, schedule and deliver requested reminders, receive replies, track acknowledgments, escalate unanswered reminders when configured, provide history and troubleshooting, protect against misuse, and maintain the service.

SMS and email messaging

Messages are sent only as part of reminders and escalation workflows configured by a user. Message frequency varies based on those settings. Standard message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of SMS, or HELP for assistance, where supported by the messaging provider. Opt-out requests must be honored; account owners should remove opted-out numbers from their reminder settings. We do not sell mobile phone numbers or share SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers

We use cloud infrastructure and messaging providers, including Amazon Web Services, to host the application, store service data, and deliver email and SMS. Providers process data as needed to operate these functions and subject to applicable terms and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Reminder and response history may be retained for auditability and troubleshooting, even after a reminder is removed. Operational logs and inbound email content may be retained for limited periods. You may request account or data deletion by contacting us using the contact details below, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

Security

We use authentication and cloud security controls intended to protect information. No electronic transmission or storage method is guaranteed completely secure.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit their personal information.

Your choices

Account owners can update reminder and recipient settings and stop future scheduled reminders. Recipients may opt out of SMS as described above. If you receive a reminder in error, contact the person who configured it or use the contact address below.

Changes

We may revise this policy. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
