Search coverage, sources, and limitations

Results combine detailed DrugsRS entries with the packaged NLM RxNorm and NIH DSLD supplement directory in one list.

Pill photographs appear only when a product-and-strength match is available from the National Library of Medicine’s public C3PI/RxImage archive. Other appearances remain clearly labeled, source-backed representations.

Coverage and limits: RxNorm supplies normalized medication concepts; RxClass/ATCPROD supports product-level classification; DSLD supplies manufacturer-declared supplement-label ingredients. Public-directory records do not receive the detailed catalog’s full descriptions, pill imagery, or interaction coverage, and an absent warning never establishes safety.
